I have an issue.
Resolution limitation with h264 / .mp4:
Can only go up to 4096×2160.
Container limitation with 360° Metadata tool:
Codecs I can use that surpass 4096×2160:
VP9 | Can’t add metadata to it
h265 | Can’t upload to YouTube
If anyone can assist, either in figuring out a way to add metadata to a WebM video, or find a good Premiere Pro preset for QuickTime, then please let me know; otherwise either I’ll export uncompressed, or just wait to make any more.
In the meantime, here are three different versions of B0X3y!
Also, please check out my new Steam Workshop item – something for Virtual Desktop (very useful for any VRer)! It even features music from Raigan Burns (smoothingly hard synth action)! =P
And lastly, if you read this – be sure to comment. :]
With my sexy new computer – I will attempt to use the HTC Vive as my main monitor.
What does this mean exactly?
Well, using Virtual Desktop – I plan on running Premiere Pro, Ableton Live, and various applications just like I normally would, except this time viewing everything in VR.
Will my eyes bleed from this? Too early to tell – but one thing is for sure…
The next set of consumer VR gear should be the full package – I can’t wait! And by next set I mean not the Gear VR [which I owned]. =P

PlayStation VR | Sony | 2016

Besides VR, there are other things to look for or question during CES:
– Dolby Vision [and Dolby + Visio’s reference TV]
– UHD Blu-rays with HDR support [time for new TV?]
– More bendy screens & more tech shit to wear
– Drone CPU war between Intel & Qualcomm
– Lots of cars that can drive my lazy ass
It should be interesting… 🙂
